Surrounded by the beauty and tranquility of Pownal Bay, Highland View offers a secluded, peaceful vacation retreat and is situated in a rural setting close to golf courses, beaches, museums, theater and midway between the Selkirk and Teahill Provincial parks. Close by are secluded beaches, excellent golf courses, art and craft shops, harness racing, provincial parks, nature trails, seal-watching tours, trout fishing, shopping and more. Open year round, accommodations feature a 1 1/2 story renovated century farm home with three double bedrooms and full bathroom upstairs. Large fully-equipped kitchen and living room are located downstairs as well as 1/2 bath. Additional room opens up to private deck canopied by shade trees that provide privacy and a view extra ordinaire. Laundry facilities are located in basement and, as well, an extra shower facility. This home is primarily heated by an oil furnace but also features a propane fireplace as an alternate source of both comfort and warmth.
