 Cashew Hill Jungle Lodge Hotel Cashew Hill Jungle Lodge is on a green, grassy hill overlooking Puerto Viejo. The gorgeous blue ocean is visible from the hill. You can easily walk to several beaches, many restaurants, and shops from Cashew Hill. It is three to eight blocks from Cashew Hill to almost everything. Bike around like the locals and see the entire southern Caribbean coast. Cashew Hill Jungle Lodge has six rooms on two acres. We have private baths, shared baths, and group/family suites. All of our rooms have large covered patios/verandas with hammocks, comfortable Adirondack Chairs and access to kitchen facilities. If you do not want to be in your room, and you just want to relax, you have options here. Cashew Hill is family-owned and family-operated. We are on-site to serve our guests. Cashew Hill Jungle Lodge has two rooms, in a separate building, with private baths and huge, ocean view verandas. These rooms have a full-size/matrimonial bed and a single bed. They are spacious and comfortable. The bathrooms have Spanish tile and large showers. They have access to a kitchen. This is a great place to honeymoon, rekindle romance or just vacation in comfort with serenity. Cashew Hill Jungle Lodge has two rooms, in a separate building, that share a large patio, fully-equipped kitchen and large bathroom with huge shower. These rooms both have a full-size/matrimonial bed and a single bed. This "suite" makes an excellent family vacation "house." You have two bedrooms, a large bathroom, covered patio and kitchen. Cashew Hill Jungle Lodge has two rooms in the main building that share a large patio, refrigerator (with kitchen use) and large bathroom. These rooms also have a full-size/matrimonial bed and a single bed. Couples, friends or families can rent both rooms and have a private bath and patio. All buildings are spread out on our two-acre site, so it never seems busy or crowded. All of our rooms are fully screened. All have fans. Our showers have hot water. We provide towels for bathing. We clean rooms and bathrooms daily. All of our patios have hammocks and comfortable chairs as does our fabulous mirador. Our mirador (look out) has the best view of Salsa Brava in Puerto Viejo. Salsa Brava is one of the premier surfing spots in the country. Upstairs, there are tables, chairs, hammocks, ocean breezes and it is a wonderful place to relax, read, do yoga, bird watch, check the waves and just enjoy your vacation. Downstairs is a banquet facility for weddings, reunions and group events for up to 30 people. We want our guests to be comfortable and to be able to relax at Cashew Hill with the best mix of jungle and ocean around. We have sloths, kinkajous, frogs, butterflies, toucans, parrots and other great wildlife up on the hill. We have emerald green grass, incredible bromeliads and orchids, fabulous palms, lots of fruit trees and we share with our guests. Cashew Hill Jungle Lodge has been likened to Hana, Maui in Hawaii. It is private, gorgeous and people of all ages love it. Reservations require a minimum 4-night stay.
