For Metung accommodation conveniently located in a tranquil setting situated in the midst of the Gippsland Lakes is Edgewater Terraces – your escape to serenity. Just a leisurely fifteen minute walk along a waterfront boardwalk to the village of Metung, this resort accommodation offers you unexpected pleasures.
Our Metung accommodation comprises thirteen stylish, beautifully presented, individual terrace houses. At Edgewater Terraces your ideal break is taken care of for the escape you deserve. We have a range of terraces to suit all tastes for that weekend getaway for two or a mini-break with family and friends. If you are ready to relax and rejuvenate, the facilities within the large grounds will ensure that your experience is made more pleasurable with the inclusion of a solar heated, salt water pool and wading pool, an enclosed indoor heated spa, a BBQ area and children’s playground. Guests at Edgewater Terraces have complimentary use of the Metung tennis courts. Resort Terrace Sleeps 2 - 8 persons. Enjoy fun with family and friends in our beautiful lakeside setting, with water or garden views. Upstairs there is a queen bedroom with private balcony and a separate bathroom with bath, shower and separate toilet. Also upstairs is the second bedroom with two pairs of bunks. Downstairs is the open living area of dining room and lounge with wood fire, TV, DVD, CD and split system air conditioning. The conveniently appointed kitchen has a fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, dish washer and is extremely well equipped with all the crockery and cutlery you need. The lounge room also opens out on to a lower balcony with outdoor furniture, perfect for breakfast in the sun. There is a laundry with washing machine, dryer and ironing facilities. All linen and towelling is supplied. Some Resort Terraces have a third bedroom downstairs with a double bed and ensuite, therefore each couple has their own double bedroom and bathroom. Luxury Terrace Sleeps 2 - 8 persons. These brand new or recently refurbished Luxury Terraces ooze charm and style; they offer different and unique features for a luxuriously comfortable stay. With designer lounges and new appliances in the kitchen, the contemporary feel will soothe you in to the holiday mood. One of the Luxury Terraces provides a sunken lounge with log flame heater and a beautiful honeymoon suite with king size bedroom, ensuite, private balcony and television. The others have a queen bedroom upstairs with private balcony and a separate bathroom with bath, shower and separate toilet. Also upstairs is the second bedroom with either two pairs of bunks or two single beds. Downstairs is the open living area of dining and lounge with woodfire, TV, DVD, CD and split system air conditioning. They have beautifully appointed kitchens, with s/steel appliances and the lounge room also opens out on to a lower balcony with outdoor furniture, perfect for breakfast in the sun. There is a laundry with washing machine, dryer and ironing facilities. All linen and towelling is supplied. The third bedroom, downstairs, has either a queen or double bed and ensuite therefore each couple has their own double bedroom and bathroom. All Luxury Terraces have their own BBQ’s and one of the Luxury Terraces provides an outdoor undercover cooking/eating area. Deluxe Terrace Sleep 2 - 5 persons. With large open plan living and a personal balcony overlooking the water, the single storey Deluxe Terraces include a corner spa in the bathroom, making them a perfect choice for couples throughout the year. There is a queen bedroom and separate bathroom with corner spa, shower and a separate toilet. The second bedroom has one pair of bunks and a single bed. The open living area of dining and lounge has new furnishings a wood fire, 80cm TV, DVD, stereo and split system air conditioning. The conveniently appointed kitchen has a fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, dish washer and is extremely well equipped with all the crockery and cutlery you need. There is a laundry with washing machine, dryer and ironing facilities. All linen and towelling is supplied as well as a BBQ on the rear patio. Lakeview Terrace House Sleeps a maximum of 10 persons. With two separate living areas, 4 bedrooms, two bathrooms and balconies overlooking the water this Terrace House is a perfect haven for two families or three couples holidaying together. Upstairs there are three queen bedrooms (one has a private balcony and ensuite). There is a separate bathroom with bath, shower and a separate toilet. Also upstairs is the fourth bedroom with two pairs of bunks. Downstairs, the open living area of dining and lounge has wood fire, TV, DVD, CD and two split system air-conditioners. The conveniently appointed kitchen has a fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, dish washer and is extremely well equipped with all the crockery and cutlery you need. The lounge room opens out on to a lower balcony with outdoor furniture also with beautiful water views. Off the lounge room is a games room for the children with an XBOX machine. There is a laundry with washing machine, dryer and ironing facilities. All linen and towelling is are supplied as well as a BBQ on the outside deck. This is a wonderful choice for the larger group wanting quality time with family and friends and perfect for a small seminar or conference.
