Please note gatehouse and guest suites at the Residence Inn Shreveport Bossier City will be under renovation from August 13th through September 30th 2006. * Residence Inn by Marriott is designed to make you feel at home for a day, a week, a month or more. Our suites give you fifty percent more space than most traditional hotel rooms. The Residence Inn Shreveport Bossier City is located 1.5 miles from the Louisiana Boardwalk and three casinos, two miles from the convention center and three miles from Barksdale Air Force Base. Downtown Shreveport is two miles west of the hotel. We offer free outdoor parking, guest laundry, small meeting room for up to fifteen people and seasonal outdoor swimming pool and whirlpool open May through October. * All suites feature free high speed Internet access with wireless service available in meeting space and public areas of the hotel! Studios are large open rooms with either one king bed or one queen bed, full bath and furnished living/dining area with sofa bed. Some studios also have a fireplace. Queen studios are located on the ground floor and king studios are located on the second floor. Penthouse suites are bilevel units with one queen bed and full bath in lofted bedroom and one double Murphy (pulldown) bed, full bath and furnished living room with dining area, fireplace and sofa bed on the main level. All accommodations have a fully equipped kitchen including coffee maker, cooking and eating utensils, dishes and glassware, dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator with icemaker. Pets allowed with a USD 75 non-refundable fee. A complimentary hot breakfast buffet is served daily featuring breads and pastries, cereals and hot oatmeal, eggs, fruits and juices, hot and cold beverages, waffles and yogurt.
