 Waiheke Backpackers an oasis of tranquility Please note this is a large file and may take time to download. Situated in Little Oneroa in an acre of native bush, Hekerua Lodge has recently reopened. We offer a tranquil spot to get away from it all. Relax on our sundeck, take a dip in our unique natural stone swimming pool or soak your cares away in a hot spa under the stars. Wander along the short bush track to the beach and shop 8 minutes away, or visit one of the many craft shops and studios in Oneroa (15 minutes further) A barbeque is available at the Lodge, we have a fully equipped kitchen, or you may prefer to order a takeaway meal which can be delivered. Laundry facilities, Internet access and mountain bikes are all available for a small charge, and we will be happy to advise on activities and tours. All Waiheke Adventures can be booked at no charge from the Lodge - kayaking, sailing, fishing, Stony Batter trips, bush walking etc.
